Starting with a special curated Opening Concert, the international music forum will feature conferences, workshops, jury-selected showcases, trade fair and dedicated networking opportunities to meet Cuban music operators and artists. It will be organised and produced to high international standards.
Furthermore, there will be selected professional, themed sightseeing for international delegates to music hotspots.
There will also be the opportunity to enjoy more of the great Cuban cultural life, as Primera Linea will take place during the Habanarte Festival.

Apart of the opening concert, 15 showcases selected by a Cuban and international jury will present the great variety of Cuban traditional, jazz, popular dance and contemporary urban music.

During the afternoons, there will be professional guided visits to hotspots of music and cultural life and creation in Havana. The visits will be organised around the following themes:
The location of the daytime conference and trade fair, and, in the evening, the selected showcases will be the just recently restored Gran Teatro de la Habana Alicia Alonso.
The theatre, which first opened its doors in 1915, is one of Havana’s greatest architectural jewels and is located right beside the Capitol in front of Central Park, in the very heart of the city.

Cuba is a victim of its success and it is now very challenging to find available accommodation.

The participation as a delegate or exhibitor at Primera Linea is possible with a tourist visa you can get through travel agencies or at Cuban embassies.
For a media accreditation, you need to process a press visa through a Cuban embassy. The requested invitation letter will be provided by Primera Linea.
US citizens can also enter Cuba with a tourist Visa, but also need a special license from the USA (OFAC approved). For more information, please contact us.
